KEANEKARAGAMAN ARTHOPODA PADA TANAMAN CABAI (CAPSICUM ANNUM L.) DENGAN PERLAKUAN PUPUK NPK DAN TANIN
The chili plant (Capsicum annuum L.) is a plant that belongs to the Solanaceae family. Chili peppers are widely cultivated in various countries because of the fruit used as a spice in cooking, as well as because of its health benefits. The plant is known for its red, green, yellow, or orange fruits, depending on the variety and level of maturity. In addition, chili peppers also contain nutrients such as vitamin C and capsaicin, which give it a distinctive spicy taste. This study aims to analyze the diversity of arthropods in chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.) which is treated with NPK fertilizer and a combination of NPK fertilizer with tannins. Arthopod diversity is an important indicator in assessing the health of agricultural ecosystems and the effectiveness of pest control strategies. The research method used a randomized group design (RAK) with two main treatments: NPK fertilizer, and a combination of NPK fertilizer with tannins. The combination of NPK and tannins has been shown to be effective in reducing the rate of certain pest attacks and increasing natural predator populations. This treatment not only improves the health of chili plants but also supports the sustainability of the agricultural ecosystem. Keywords: Diversity of arthopoda, chili, NPK, tannins, pest management, agricultural ecosystems.
