PEMANFAATAN KEUNGGULAN KEPEMILIKAN, LOKASI, DAN INTERNALISASI OLEH PT TELEKOMUNIKASI INDONESIA INTERNASIONAL (TELIN) DALAM BEREKSPANSI KE MALAYSIA
This research project aims to elucidate the manner in which PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Internasional (TELIN) deploys ownership, location, and internalization advantages to compete in the Malaysian market. To this end, the research employs the OLI (Ownership, Location, Internalization) theory and a descriptive-analytical approach to elucidate the manner in which TELIN utilizes ownership, location, and internalization advantages to maintain competitiveness and mitigate risk in the international market. The research utilizes data collected through a literature study and an analysis of secondary sources. The findings indicate that TELIN leverages its ownership advantage through the deployment of advanced technology, robust network infrastructure, including submarine cables, a skilled workforce, a strong reputation, a well-established corporate brand, and a robust financial position as a subsidiary of Telkom Indonesia. In terms of location advantage, TELIN leverages market growth, geographical proximity, and government policies that facilitate expansion. Additionally, internalization advantage is employed by TELIN to gain control over network operations, infrastructure management, data management, privacy management, and to enhance operational and financial efficiency. By leveraging these advantages, TELIN can enhance its competitiveness in Malaysia.
