HUBUNGAN ANTRA SELF-DISCLOSURE DENGAN LONELINESS PADA EMERGING ADULTHOOD
The aim of the study is determining whether there is a relationship between self-disclosure and loneliness in emerging adulthood. The hypothesis in this study is relationship between self-disclosure and loneliness in emerging adulthood. This study used 150 respondents emerging adulthood. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The measuring instruments that used is self-disclosure scale which refers to the self-disclosure dimension by Cozby (1973) and UCLA loneliness scale version 3 by Rusell (1996). Data analysis used pearson’s product moment correlation. The result of the pearson’s product moment correlation show the value of r= -0,287, and p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). This shows that there is a negative and significant relationship between self-disclosure and loneliness in emerging adulthood. Thus, the hypothesis in this study can be accepted.
