Cayenne pepper for indonesian people, especially South Sumatra is one of the foodstuffs that have a high level of consumption, based on the ministry of agriculture's record for the consumption needs of chili peppers average - the national average is in the range of 1,296 million - 1,320 million tons per type of chili per year. However, fluctuations in the price of chili in Indonesia still always occur in a certain period so it takes a model of cayenne pepper price forecasting that has a good performance. One of the forecasting methods is Fuzzy Time Series Chen which has a good level of accuracy and produces efficient calculations of fuzzy relationships. In this study, Fuzzy Time Series Chen used as a forecasting model and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) as a method of calculating errors in determining the performance of forecasting against the daily price data of cayenne pepper in palembang in the period 1 April 2020 to 1 April 2021. The results of this study obtained an error score of 7.7723 percent.
