The level of maturity of the information system in the new student admission service at Sriwijaya University in the Information Communication Technology Development and Management Unit (UPT TIK) is still lacking in monitoring and evaluating IT performance. it is necessary to evaluate the maturity level of the information system on new student admission services using the COBIT 5 Framework in the Evaluation, Direct, and Monitoring (EDM) domain to determine the current (as is) and expected (to be) maturity level. The results of the study resulted in 3 IT processes that became the focus of the audit consisting of EDM01 ensuring the setting and maintenance of the governance framework, EDM02 ensuring the delivery of benefits, EDM05 ensuring stakeholder transparency in IT performance. Of the three processes assessed, overall the current capability level (as is) is 1.3 and the expected capability level (to be) is 4.0. Because there is no process that is able to reach the expected level, the recommendation for improvement is to increase by 2 levels from the current level achievement (as is) in order to reach the expected level (to be).
