This study determined the effect of probiotics prevared from Kumpai Tembaga (Hymenachne actigluma) to the weight percentage of internal organs of male layer chickens. This research lasted for two months in the Poultry Experimental station and Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Laboratory Departement of Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. An experimental study with Randomized Design was done used 100 day old chickens of male layer.The study used 5 treatments and 4 replications consisting of 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8% of probiotic in the offered feed. The variables observed were percentage of pancreas, liver, gizzard, spleen, bile and heart. Data was analyzed with ANOVA and Duncan test.The results of this study indicated that probiotic addition was able to increase the percentage of pancreas, liver, rempela, spleen, bile and heart. The conclusion of this study is that the provision of probiotics from copper kumpai silage (Hymenachne acutigluma) in the ration at a dose of 0.2% can increase the percentage of pancreatic weight, a dose of 0.6% can increase the percentage of weight (liver, gizzard, spleen, and heart) and dose. 0.8% was able to increase the percentage of male layer chicken bile weight.
