ANALISIS PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENDAMPINGI ANAK BELAJAR DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 SD NEGERI 10 PAYARAMAN KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
This study aims to determine the role of parents in accompanying children to study during the Covid-19 pandemic and to find out what obstacles parents face in accompanying children to study during the Covid 19 pandemic, SD Negeri 10 Payaraman, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research uses descriptive research methods, with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 60 respondents. The results of categorizing the role of parents based on the number of fathers were 49% and the number of mothers was 51%. From the calculation of the t-test, it is known that the t-test value is 2.69, with a significant level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (db) = n - 2 = 60 - 2 = 58 with t table 0.254. In conclusion, tcount = 2.69> table = 0.254, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The meaning is that there are differences in the role of the father and the role of the mother in accompanying children to study during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Negeri 10 Payaraman, Ogan Ilir Regency. The results of the description of the age range data with the largest percentage were the age range 34-41 years with a percentage of 54% with the sufficient category. The results of the type of work of parents who work as teachers have a percentage of 60% in the good category. Based on the results of the interview, in general, the obstacles faced by parents in accompanying children to study at home are the lack of understanding of the material by the parents, difficulties in fostering children's interest in learning, difficulties in operating gadgets, not having enough time to accompany children to study at home, parents do not patience in accompanying children to learn at home, and obstacles related to the reach of internet services.
