DETERMINAN PENGELUARAN BIAYA KESEHATAN RUMAH TANGGA DI SUMATERA SELATAN (ANALISIS DATA SUSENAS 2019)
In the JKN era, it is expected that the out of pocket (OOP) of participants will decrease, but in reality the additional costs incurred by BPJS Health participants range from Rp. 4,000 to Rp. 2,000,000 or an average of Rp. 375,218/individual. This study aims to analyze the utilization of health services on household health expenditures in South Sumatra. This research is a descriptive analysis with quantitative methods and a cross-sectional research design using secondary data from the 2019 National Socio-Economic Survey. The sample is all heads of households in South Sumatra, totaling 2,442 respondents. Data analysis performed was univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The univariate results showed that the majority of household heads in South Sumatra had health expenditures below the average of IDR 113,285 (84.8%). The results of the bivariate analysis found that there was a relationship between the utilization of health services, the age of the head of the household, the education of the head of the household, the number of family members, the gender of the head of the household, health complaints, area of residence, health insurance ownership, and household expenditures on household expenses. for health costs in South Sumatra. From the multivariate results, it is known that the variable of utilization of health services is related to the expenditure of health costs with a value of PR = 10,906; 95%CI= 6.035-19.710, controlled for health complaints and household expenditure variables. Through this research, it is hoped that the community can optimize the utilization of health services by using health insurance.
