ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin covid-19 ialah suatu tanggapan atau penerimaan dari informasi yang diperoleh mengenai keyakinan terhadap kehalalan vaksin, kesediaan divaksinasi dan kapasitas tenaga kesehatan yang memberikan vaksin covid-19. Hal tersebut dikarenakan banyak sekali isu-isu yang mempengaruhi tentang informasi mengenai vaksin Covid-19 seperti faktor kehalalan dan keamanan dari vaksin Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin covid-19 di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Pada penelitian ini berjumlah 440 sampel yang diperoleh dari wawancara langsung serta pengisian kuisioner dan pengisian google form melalui online. Analisis data menggunakan Chi Square dan Regresi Logistik Ganda. Hasil : Menunjukkan bahwa dari 440 responden terdapat 277 responden (63%) memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap vaksin covid-19 dan 163 responden (37%) memiliki persepsi yang negatif terhadap vaksin covid-19. Variabel yang berhubungan dengan persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin covid-19 adalah variabel pengetahuan (P=0,000), kesediaan untuk divaksin (P=0,000), status pendidikan (P=0,038) dan status pernikahan (P=0,023). Adapun variabel yang tidak berhubungan adalah umur (P=0,099), Jenis Kelamin (P=0,411), pekerjaan (P=0,593), riwayat penyakit tidak menular (P=0,437), riwayat penyakit covid-19 (P=0,716), budaya (P=0,731), keamanan vaksin (P=0,111) dan status ekonomi (P=0,183). Kemudian variabel yang dominan dalam mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin covid-19 adalah variabel pengetahuan dengan (P value 0,005; PR = 1,592 ; 95 % CI = (0,971 – 2,610). Kesimpulan : Pengetahuan mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap vaksin covid-19, oleh karena itu diperlukannya untuk memberikan informasi secara menyuluruh dan merata pada semua masyarakat tentang kegunaan, keamanan vaksin covid-19 dan semua informasi ter-update mengenai vaksin covid-19. This is because there are so many issues that affect information about the Covid-19 vaccine, such as the halal and safety factors of the Covid-19 vaccine. The purpose of this study was to determine public perceptions of the covid�19 vaccine in South Sumatra Province. Methods : This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. In this study, there were 440 samples obtained from direct interviews as well as filling out questionnaires and filling out google forms via online. Data analysis using Chi Square and Multiple Logistics Regression. Results : Shows that from 440 respondents there are 277 respondents (63%) have a positive perception of the covid-19 vaccine and 163 respondents (37%) have a negative perception of the covid-19 vaccine. Variables related to public perception of the COVID-19 vaccine were knowledge (P=0.000), willingness to be vaccinated (P=0.000), educational status (P=0.038) and marital status (P=0.023). The unrelated variables were age (P=0.099), gender (P=0.411), occupation (P=0.593), history of non-communicable diseases (P=0.437), history of COVID-19 (P=0.716), tradition (P=0.731), vaccine safety (P=0.111) and economic status (P=0.183). Then the dominant variable in influencing public perception of the covid-19 vaccine is the knowledge variable with (P value 0.005; PR = 1.592; 95% CI = (0.971 – 2.610). Conclusion : Knowledge affects people's perceptions of the covid-19 vaccine, therefore it is necessary to provide comprehensive and equitable information to all people about the usefulness, safety of the covid-19 vaccine and all updated information about the covid-19 vaccine.
