EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM BEASISWA PENINGKATAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK (PPA) DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEGURUAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Academic Achievement Improvement scholarship program in increasing the learning motivation of students of the faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sriwijaya University. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population in this study were 215 students who were recipients of the Academic Achievement Improvement scholarship, then the sampel was drawn using the probability sampling type of proportionate stratified random sampling technique so that 135 samples were obtained and data were collected through documentation and questionnaires. The result of this study indicate that the Academic Achievement Improvement scholarship is effective in increasing the learning motivation of students of the faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sriwijaya University, it can be seen from the average score of six indicators, namely target accuracy 83%, goal achievement 89%, desire to succeed 94%, motivation to learn 79%, having aspires 84%, gets awards 90%, and has a total average percentage of 86% > 50% so that it can be interpreted that the result of the study show effectiveness, namely the Academic Achievement Improvement scholarship can increase the learning motivation of students of the faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sriwijaya University.
