ANALISIS KUALITAS AIR SUNGAI MUSI DI KELURAHAN TANGGA TAKAT, PALEMBANG
The Musi River is a river that is the mouth of large and small rivers in South Sumatra.The river flow that crosses settlements in Palembang City makes the Musi river a means of transportation and fulfills daily needs for riverbank communities. Kelurahan Tangga Takat is a riverbank settlement in Seberang Ulu II, Palembang whose people still use Musi river water to fulfill their daily needs.This study aims to analyze the water quality of the Musi river in Tangga Takat Village, Palembang.The analysis was carried out on physical, chemical parameters, biotilic diversity (macro-invertebrates) and the physical habitat of the river. In this research, the approach used is qualitative.The number of informants is 10 people.Data were collected by conducting observations, in-depth interviews and laboratory tests of the Musi river water samper.In-depth interviews were conducted to find out information related to the informants' opinions, uses and health concerns.From the results of the examination, it was found that the identification of biotilic animal diversity was categorized as Moderately Polluted with of score 2,1 and the physical habitat of the river was in the bad category (C).The results of the analysis of the pollution index and laboratory examinations of physical parameters, namely TSS and chemical parameters, namely BOD and COD, were found to still meet the quality standards allowed in accordance with the PERGUB SUMSEL No. 16 of 2005 and Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001.with a COD value of 5 Mg/L from each sample and the highest BOD value of 1.75 at the sample point 3 in the morning and the lowest value of 1.71 being at point 4. Musi River waters in Tangga Takat Village are categorized as still fulfilling acceptable quality standards. This is based on the results of veterinary inspection and analysis of the pollution index and laboratory results
