Work inspection is the most important role in preventing accidents / incidents that lead to losses for the company through direct supervision and monitoring in the workplace. In order to increase control, PT Bukit Asam implemented planned inspections that are included in the K3 department's routine work program under the name Safety Patrol. This Safety Patrol aims to identify mismatches with the implementation of K3 in all mining areas, both in the form of actions and unsafe conditions, where every year there are always work accidents ranging from minor to severe due to the mismatch. This research is qualitative in nature and is a cross sectional study. This research was conducted with in-depth interviews and an assessment of the Safety Patrol based on elements of planned inspection in the International Safety Rating System (ISRS). Based on the results of the research, it was obtained in the form of a general assessment of the elements of Planned Inspection and maintenance of the Safety Patrol at PT Bukit Asam UPTE getting a percentage of 88.6%. The assessment of each sub-element includes 96.4% in the planned general inspection sub-element, 100% in the follow-up procedure sub-element, 100% in the inspection report analysis sub-element and critical parts or items, 96% in the preventive maintenance sub-element, 100% in the special system inspection sub- element, 90% in the pre-use inspection sub-element, 100% in the alternative reporting sub-element, and 100% in the compliance sub-element. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Safety Patrol in PT Bukit Asam UPTE is categorized as good, because it has fulfilled 88.6% of all assessment criteria in the Safety Patrol element based on the ISRS. This assessment will be fulfilled by optimizing the elements of general planned inspection, preventive maintenance, and inspection before use.
