This study aims to analyze the role of the tau people in accompanying children aged 5-6 years to pray 5 times during the covid-19 pandemic in Simpang Sender Lingkungan 6, OKU Selatan. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type. Descriptive qualitative research to describe (explain) the events that occurred, was carried out systematically which emphasized the disclosure of data in the form of facts obtained from the field in the form of structured interviews and passive participation observations. For analyzing the data.This study used data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Techniques researchers used four research subjects, such as parents with the initials R, MN, J and A who had children aged 5-6 years in the Simpang Sender Lingkungan 6. The results showed that parents accompany children aged 5-6 years to pray 5 times during the covid-19 pandemic namely parents act as namely giving an example to children by exemplifying prayer movements, then the habituation given by parents in practicing prayer intentions and prayer movements that are carried out continuously, parents also give advice to children when children do not pray by telling children that Prayer is obligatory for muslims and the last is that parents give attention and supervision with the aim that children can pray five times a day.
