HUBUNGAN SANITASI DASAR WARUNG MAKAN DENGAN KEPADATAN LALAT DI WARUNG MAKAN SEKITAR PASAR LEMATANG KABUPATEN LAHAT TAHUN 2020
Sanitation at food stalls is an action to create an environment that is clean, healthy, and fulfills the health requirements. Food stalls could be a place that can spread diseases through food and drink. Therefore, efforts are needed to keep the quality of food and drink by maintaining the basic sanitation at food stalls to prevent vectors, such as flies. Based on the initial survey, the lack of attention and poor basic sanitation has resulted in the density of flies in the food stalls. This study aims to determine the relationship between the basic sanitation of food stalls and the density of flies. This study used an analytic cross-sectional research design. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. The sample of this study was all of the food stalls with a total of 32 food stalls. The result showed that there is a relationship between building location and fly density (p-value 0,049). There is a relationship between the place of food storage and fly density (p-value 0,006). There is no relationship between the place of serving food and the fly density (p-value 0,467). There is a relationship between the place of washing the cooking equipment and the fly density (p-value 0,002). There is a relationship between the tools to prevent flies and fly density (p-value 0,006). There is a relationship between the trash condition and fly density (p-value 0,000). There is a relationship between temperature and fly density (p-value 0,049). There is a relationship between humidity and fly density (p-value 0,002). Through this study, it is hoped that food stall owners will pay more attention to the basic sanitation of food stalls so that it will not cause the density of flies in food stalls, considering that most of the food stalls have a high density of flies.
