Referring to NFPA 1600, an emergency is a situation or event that requires security measures for objects, health, and safety. The existence of an evacuation scenario in the Dean building of the Faculty of Public Health prevents the occurrence of fatalities in the event of an emergency by paying attention to life-saving facilities and emergency response procedures. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative with the technique of taking informants is purposive sampling. In total there are 7 informants. This research refers to SFPE 3rd edition in calculating evacuation time and conducting a review of emergency response plans referring to SNI 03-1746-2000, SNI 03-1745-2000, SNI 03-6574-2001, PermenPUPR No. 20 of 2009, NFPA 101, and PERKA BNPB No. 4 of 2012. The results showed that the Dean's building has 3 (three) exits according to SNI 03-6547-2001. There is one stair and it does not meet the number of stairs required by SNI 03-6547-2001, the corridor area does not meet SNI 03-1745-2000. The exit sign does not meet the requirements of SNI 03-8574-2000, there is no placement of the assembly point location, unavailability of communication lines during an emergency. Emergency response procedures are not yet available in writing for the prevention and response to emergencies. The evacuation time required to access the exit is 2,181 minutes. Conclusion of this research is Dean of the Faculty of Public Health still does not have emergency response procedures and adequate means of escape. This condition should see the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health create emergency response procedures and evacuation routes.
