Background: Hemoglobin is a compound containing iron in red blood cells which is needed by adolescent girls. Hemoglobin levels that are too low can lead to anemia. The development of sardine cracker products as a food source of iron can help meet the iron needs of adolescent girls. Objective: To know the difference in hemoglobin levels before and after giving sardine crackers to adolescent girls at Dempo Darul Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School (PPDDM) Pagaralam City. Methods: This research used Quasi Experimental research with One Group Pretest and Posttest design. Sampling research used purposive sampling technique. The samples were 34 people. Each subject was given 30 grams of sardine crackers every day for 14 days. Hemoglobin levels was measured using a hemometer digital Easy Touch GCHb (Glucose, Cholesterol, Hemoglobin). Data analysis used paired T-Test. Results: Based on the results of the study, it can be know that there was difference on hemoglobin level before and after giving sardine crackers with (p-value < 0,05), the provision of sardine fish crackers increased the average value of hemoglobin levels from 14,00 gr/dl to 14,59 gr/dl. The increase in the average hemoglobin level was 0,59 g/dl. Conclusions and Suggestions: There was an difference on hemoglobin level before and after of the giving sardine fish crackers to adolescent girls at the Dempo Darul Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School (PPDDM) Pagaralam City. Adolescent girls can make sardine crackers as an alternative in increasing hemoglobin levels. Keywords : Hemoglobin levels, Adolescent girls, Sardines crackers Bibliography : 37 (2013-2020)
