DETERMINAN KEPUTUSAN PETANI SWADAYA YANG IKUT PERTANIAN KELAPA SAWIT BERKELANJUTAN DI DESA POMPA AIR KECAMATAN BAJUBANG KABUPATEN BATANGHARI
The purpose of this research is: (1) How much do independent smallholders apply sustainable agriculture in Pompa Air Village, (2) Are there differences in income for independent smallholders who apply sustainable agriculture compared to those who do not apply it in Pompa Air Village, (3) What are the factors which influences independent smallholders to implement sustainable agriculture or does not implement it in Water Pump Village. The location selection for this study was carried out on purpose (purposive sampling). Research activities were carried out from January 22, 2021 to February. This research is a descriptive study with a survey method. The sampling method used in this study was the proportional stratified random sampling method. The number of farmer samples taken was 40 sample farmers and the data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The results showed that (1) the average performance of the implementation of sustainable agriculture (ISPO principles) of independent oil palm smallholders in Pompa Air Village was 80.42% with an average score of 38.60 and categorized as good. (2) There is a significant difference in income between the income of independent smallholders who cultivate sustainable palm oil and farmers who cultivate unsustainable palm oil, where the income from sustainable palm oil is higher than the income from unsustainable palm oil with a Sig. 2-tailed value of 0.003. (3) The factors that influence the independent smallholders' decision to participate in sustainable agriculture or not in Pompa Air Village based on the significant results of the logistic regression analysis are the number of dependents and income.
