PEMODELAN JARINGAN SARAF TIRUAN PADA PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN SERAI WANGI VARIETAS MAHAPEGIRI LOKAL (Cymbopogon winterianus Jowwit)
Citronella (Cymbopogon Winterianus Jowwit) is a plant that produces essential oils that can be produced from the distillation process, and can be applied for many things. This study aims to determine the effect of different doses of fertilizer on growth, amount of yield and quality content of the essential oil of mahapegiri lokal citronella herb. This research also uses an artificial neural network modeling approach by identifying each plant growth factor. This research was conducted at the citronella plantation of PT. Mitra Alas Agri, Joint Basic Laboratory and Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, FMIPA Sriwijaya University from December 2020 to May 2021. The study used a one Factorial Completely Randomized Design (RALF) with five treatments and five replications. Fertilization treatments consisted of (A0) without fertilizer (control), (A1) organic fertilizer + 100% NPK fertilizer (minimum suggestion), (A2) organic fertilizer + 175% NPK fertilizer, (A3) organic fertilizer + 200% NPK fertilizer, and (A4) organic fertilizer + 225% NPK fertilizer. The measurement parameters were stem length, stem diameter, number of leaves, and number of buds. The results showed that the application of organic fertilizer and different doses of NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on plant growth and the amount of citronella oil yield on control plants (A0) with the highest yield in A4 treatment, namely 1.046%. The best artificial neural network (ANN) model obtained is using 4 input layers, 1 hidden layer and 1 output layer with the smallest MSE value 7.35×10-9 and the smallest MAPE 0.11634%.
