TANGGAPAN TANAMAN PADI (Oryza sativa L.) TERHADAP PEMBERIAN VERMIKOMPOS DAN PUPUK NPK DI TANAH RAWA PASANG SURUT
This research was carried out at the Greenhouse of the Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University in July-October 2020 with 2 treatment factors Factor 1: N, P and K fertilizer doses consisting of two levels, D1 (Recommended N, P and K fertilizer doses ,Urea 200 kg/ha, SP-36 100 kg/ha, and KCl 100 kg/ha) and D2 (site-specific doses of N, P and K fertilizers, Urea 37 kg/ha, SP-36 56 kg/ha and KCL 183 kg/ha) Factor 2 Addition of vermicompost consisting of three levels, namely: V1 (vermicompost dose 5 tons/ha), V2 (Vermicompost dose 7.5 tons/ha) and V3 (vermicompost dose 10 tons/ha). The variables observed were the analysis of planting media both pre-planting and after planting, plant height, number of total tillers, productive tillers, weight of total grain, weight and percentage of pithy grain, weight and percentage of empty grain, weight of 1000 grains of rice, and rice production/ha. Based on the results of the research, the best combination of treatments was the treatment of N,P,K, Urea 200 kg/ha, SP-36 100 kg/ha, KCl 100 kg/ha and the highest dose of vermicompost fertilization was 10 tons/ha with a grain yield of 4,005 tons/ha. The results suggest that further research should be carried out to determine the optimum dose of vermicompost fertilizer for rice plants so as to achieve an optimal average grain yield.
