PENGARUH FAKTOR COGNITIVE BIAS, FINANCIAL LITERACY DAN FAKTOR KEPRIBADIAN TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI MAHASISWA DAN MAHASISWI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
The research is aimed to investigate the influence of cognitive bias factor consisting of cognitive dissonance bias, overconfidence and illusion of control, financial literacy, and personality factor consisting of demographics and psychographic. By using primary data types, the population in this research is the students of Sriwijaya university with 114 students as a sample that were selected from the economics faculty, law faculty, medical faculty and social science faculty. The result of this research indicate that cognitive dissonance bias, overconfidence, illusion of control, financial literacy, demographic and psychographic had a positive and significant influence to student investment decision in Sriwijaya University. The coefficient of determination in this research is 15.2% it means 84,8% can be determined by other variables that are not included in this research. Due to limited of this research, it is highly recommended to increase the number of respondents and also other independent variable.
