This research aims to determine the profile of the implementation of virtual biology learning in high school in Ilir Barat I Palembang. This research was conducted in February until March 2021. The research method is descriptive. The technique of data collection is proportional random sampling on five high school accredited A, B, and C in Ilir Barat I. The data was collected with questionary and interview method. The data was analysis by descriptive. The results showed that in high school accredited A, B and C, the students have in common in the use of smartphones and laptops in implementing learning online, the application is most often used in online learning that is whatsapp, and zoom meetings. Based on the results of the questionnaire, students in high schools accredited A, B, and C were not accompanied by their parents in online learning because students were quite independent, students experienced obstacles such as difficulty understanding material, lack of concentration, boredom, and an unstable internet network. Thus, although the school in Kecamatan Ilir Barat I have accreditation, but the implementation of online learning is in the same category.
