ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN MULTIKULTURAL DALAM BUKU SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR KURIKULUM 2013 TEMA PERISTIWA DALAM KEHIDUPAN
This research aims to describe completeness multicultural education values loaded in fifth grade student book curriculum 2013 theme of events in life. The subject in this research is purposive, namely fifth grade student book curriculum 2013 theme of events in life. As for the data collection techniques used are documentation and content analysis techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis that involves three stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. From the result of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the quality or completeness of the multicultural education values contained in fifth grade student book curriculum 2013 theme of events in life is complete and adequate. Its because the book contains and integrates the multicultural education values in all dimensions, namely (1) content integration, (2) the knowledge construction process, (3) an equity pedagogy, (4) prejudice reduction, and (5) empowering school culture and social structure. In addition, the dimensions of multicultural education are evenly distributed in each sub-theme. So in the other words, this book is supported multicultural education.
