Diseases caused by fungi in chili plants can cause a decrease in the quantity and quality of production. Fungus can cause the growth and development of chili plants to be undisturbed. This study aims to determine the ability of low concentrations of herbaceous endophytic fungal filtrate culture to promote the ability of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides infection in cayenne pepper. This research was conducted in two experiments arranged in a factorial completely randomized design. The first experiment was carried out on 26 endophytic fungal isolates, each of which was treated with 1 cayenne pepper and 20 replicates for each isolate that was given Colletotrichum derived from diseased cayenne pepper. The second experiment was carried out on 3 selected endophytic fungi isolates, each of which was against the restoration of 10 pieces of cayenne pepper and 5 replications that had been given pure culture of C. gloeosporioides. The test results showed that the filtrate culture treatment of 26 endophytic fungi isolates at a concentration of 0.5% and 5% could not inhibit C. gloeosporioides infection using the inoculum of the diseased fruit. The filtrate culture treatment of 3 selected isolates also could not inhibit C. gloeosporioides fungal infection using pure culture. The control treatment without inoculation was still infected by anthracnose which indicated that the infection had occurred in the fruit in the field. The test results showed that the infected chilies could not be inhibited by the fruit treatment using filtrate culture
