PENGARUH WAKTU INKUBASI SEMEN HASIL SEXING METODE KOLOM Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) TERHADAP MORFOLOGI DAN MEMBRAN PLASMA SPERMATOZOA SAPI SIMMENTAL
The Effect of Incubation Time of Semen from Sexing Column Method Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) on Morphology and Plasma Membrane of Simmental Cow Spermatozoa This study aims to study the effect of the incubation time of sexed semen on the morphology of the plasma membrane of spermatozoa. This research was carried out from August to September 2020 at the Regional Artificial Insemination Center Laboratory for Animal Reproduction and Health (BIBD). Sembawa Banyuasin, South Sumatra. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 3 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (20 minutes), P1 (45 minutes), P3 (60 minutes). Parameters observed were spermatozoa abnormalities, spermatozoa plasma membrane integrity. The results of this study showed that the incubation time for 20 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes had no significant effect. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the incubation time at the time of sexing can increase abnormalities and decrease spermatozoa plasma.
