The purpose of this thesis is to find out how much added value is created and how much profit is received by the rice milling industry into rice in East OKU Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by cross section by means of direct interviews with business owners using a list of questions (questionnaires) while secondary data were reports obtained from institutions or agencies involved in this study, such as BPS Palembang City, Department of Agriculture Plantation, East OKU Regency. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that from the added value created the largest allocation was for wages of 53.68 percent and from the added value created the allocation for profit was 19.83 percent, this means that the rice milling industry in East OKU Regency is able to create income from factors of production, while from the 84 business units of the rice milling industry, 66.67 percent of the respondents generate above-average profits. The ratio between profit and income is 4.73 percent. The percentage of profit from added value is 19.85 percent, this means that the rice milling industry is able to create income from business ownership.
