PEMBUATAN AKTA KONTRAK POLITIK DI HADAPAN NOTARIS
In every general election, notaries are often busy with requests for making political contracts from potential contestants and voters for various interests. Some of these political contracts are desired to be stated in the form of an authentic deed before a notary who is considered an authorized official. This is related to the authority of a notary as regulated in the Law on Notary Positions (UUJN). This study entitled “Making Authentic Deeds for Political Contracts before a Notary” aims to explain whether a political contract can be categorized as an agreement as stipulated in civil law made before a notary, the authority of a notary in ratifying authentic deeds for political contracts made before him, and regulations regarding the making of a political contract before a notary. This is a normative legal research. This study used statutory and philosophical approaches using analytical descriptive methods. The results showed that the authentic deeds for political contracts made before a notary according to the limits of authority only in the field of civil law is null and void except for the authority in legalization and waarmerking.
