ANALISIS KOMPARATIF PEMASARAN PADI MELALUI BULOG DAN PEDAGANG PERANTARA DI DESA TANJUNG JATI KECAMATAN MUARA ENIM
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is the main food crop in Indonesia, with rice production and consumption always ranking first among other food commodities. Around 90 percent of Indonesia's population uses rice as the main staple food. This study aims to (1) describe and analyze rice marketing channels in Tanjung Jati Village. (2) Describe the factors that make up the decision of rice farmers to sell to Bulog and to intermediary traders in Tanjung Jati Village. (3) Analyzing the income comparison of farmers who sell to Bulog and to intermediary traders in Tanjung Jati Village.This research was conducted in Tanjung Jati Village, Muara Enim District, Muara Enim Regency. This research method is a survey method. This research was conducted from November 2019 to December 2019. Non-probability sampling method with quota sampling. The samples to be taken in this study were 12 farmers each who sold to Bulog , and 21 farmers who sell to middlemen, so the total sample required is 33 samples. The data obtained are primary data and secondary data. There are three marketing channels for rice in Tanjung Jati village, namely Channel I (Farmers sell to Intermediary Traders selling to Consumers), Channel II (Farmers sell to Intermediary Traders selling to Bulog), Channel III (Farmers sell to Bulog). There is a significant difference in income between rice farmers who sell to intermediary traders and Bulog of Rp. 7,835,638/ha/year for farmers who sell to intermediary traders and Rp. 29,136,784/ha/year for farmers who sell to Bulog.
