Rampai tomatoes (Lycopersicon pimpinellifolium) are a horticultural commodity of the family solanacea small round and have a high economic value. In addition to consumption, rampai tomatoes are beneficial for health and beauty because of their nutritional content and rich in vitamins. But in the cultivation of tomato rampai often encounter obstacles that inhibit production, one of which is caused by plant diseases namely sprouts rebah ( Damping off ). The causes of sprout rebah disease (Damping off) are some pathogenic mushrooms such as Pythium sp., Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium sp., Sclerotium rolfsii and Phytophthora sp. which can be infected from planting media that is not streil or carried away seeds so that the plant becomes rebah with symptoms of rot at the base of the stem, wrinkled and blackish brown and seeds become rotten. Therefore it is necessary to biological agents as an alternative to plant pathogen control that is promising because it is cheap, easy to get and safe to the environment such as PGPR. PGPR (Plant Growt Promoting Rhizobacteria) as bio-control of soil infectious pathogens can reduce pathogen attacks on host plants, produce antibiotics and enzymes that harm pathogens, in addition to having the ability to spur plant growth and development. The purpose of this study is to see the The Influence Of PGPR In Controlling Damping Off Disease On Tomato Rampai. This research has been conducted in shadow house and Bacteriology Laboratory of The Department of Pests and Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. Soil samples were taken from 2 bamboo rhizospheres and elephant grass rhizospheres. Using experimental method with RandomIzed Group Design (RAK) with 6 repeated treatments 4 times, so that 24 units of treatment each unit consists of 20 sprouts of tomato rampai. The result of breeding pgpr bamboo root and elephant grass root contains bacteria Bacillus sp. as good bacteria stimulate plant growth and also inhibit and reduce sprout rebah disease. In inhibiting or reducing sprouts treatment pgpr bamboo root 10 ml / L + PGPR elephant grass roots 10 ml / L (ABARG) is better than the control treatment without the use of PGPR. For PGPR is good in spurring the high growth of plants namely PGPR elephant grass 20 ml / L (ARG2) but does not differ much from other PGPR treatment.
