DETERMINAN KEPUTUSAN PETANI KARET RAKYAT DALAM MEMILIH POLA PEMASARAN BERBEDA TERHADAP PENDAPATAN YANG DITERIMA DI UPPB BAYUNG LENCIR KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN
There are two patterns of community rubber marketing in general, namely traditional and organized. The difference lies in the targeted marketing chain. the objectives of this research are to identify the rubber marketing pattern of farmers through UPPB and Non UPPB Bayung Lencir, Musi Banyuasin Regency, to compare the income of farmers who market rubber through UPPB and non marketing patterns in UPPB Bayung Lencir, Musi Banyuasin Regency, to analyze the determinants that influence the decisions of rubber farmers people to choose a different marketing pattern in UPPB Bayung Lencir, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method. The sampling method used in this research is proportional stratified random sampling with a total sample of 60 farmers consisting of 24 farmers who market rubber through UPPB and 34 non-UPPB Bayung Lencir farmers. The results showed that there are two patterns of community rubber marketing, namely through UPPB and Non UPPB through wholesalers and collectors, the income of farmers who market rubber through UPPB is greater than Non UPPB Bayung Lencir Musi Banyuasin Regency, the total income of farmers through the UPPB marketing pattern per hectare per month is Rp. 3,051,346, the total income of farmers through the UPPB marketing pattern per hectare per month is Rp1,156,270, the determinants that influence farmers' decisions in choosing different marketing patterns are length of education, farming experience, land area and income.
