This study aims to determine the influence of internal and external factors, namely Net Interest Margin (NIM), Non Performing Loans (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Inflation Rate, and Exchange Rate Changes on stock returns in sub-sector companies. banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The object of this research is a banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2019 period. The sampling method used is purposive sampling method. This method uses multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis. The results showed that NIM, NPL, and LDR had no effect on banking stock returns. The inflation rate has a positive and significant effect on banking stock returns. The rate of exchange rate change has an effect on banking stock returns. NIM, NPL, LDR, Inflation Rate and Exchange Rate Changes together have a significant effect on banking stock returns.
