The purpose of this study is to determine whether the profitability ratios proxied by ROA and market value ratios proxied by PER and DPR affect the volume of stock trading in retail companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2019 period. The population in this study were all retail companies listed on the IDX until 2019, the sample in this study was 9 companies based on certain criteria. The research method used in this study is descriptive statistical method and inferential statistics with the results showing that the ROA ratio has a negative and significant effect on stock trading volume, the PER ratio has a positive and significant effect on stock trading volume and the DPR ratio has a negative and significant effect on stock trading volume.
