This study was to determine the effect of the hormone progesterone in Bali Steer on body weight, gumba height, body length, chest circumference and scrotal circumference, as well as to determine the side effects of the use of the hormone progesterone. This research was conducted at Sekolah Peternak Rakyat 1111 Kecamatan Sungai Lilin, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin from August 2020 to October 2020. This study used 3 Bali Steer with the simple paired T test statistical method by looking at body weight gain, gumba height, length. body, chest circumference, and scrotal circumference before and after progesterone hormone treatment. The results of the study concluded that the treatment of progesterone hormone on male Bali cattle had a significant effect on body weight, but had no significant effect on body size and scrotal circumference.
