This study aims to examine the effect of competence on employee productivity at the HR & CA Division PT.TanjungEnim Lestari Pulp and Paper, Muara Enim regency. The data used in this study are primary data, with a sample of 123 employees, using a sampling technique with non probability sampling. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with simple regression analysis. The results of this study are competence has a positive and significant effect on employee produktivity. It is recommended for the related parties to increase the competence optimally. This optimization must be seen in terms of the variety of work tasks, the volume of tasks and duty free needed as a means of improving employee productivity.
