PENGARUH NORMA SUBJEKTIF, SOSIALISASI ANTISIPATIF, DAN PERSEPSI KONTROL PERILAKU TERHADAP INTENSI MAHASISWA MELAKUKAN WHISTLEBLOWING PADA KECURANGAN AKADEMIK (STUDI PADA MAHASISWA S1 JURUSAN AKUNTANSI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA)
This study was aimed to determine the influence of subjective norms, anticipatory socialization, and perceptions of control over the behavior of Accounting students on the intention of whistleblowing on academic cheating. The number of samples used in this study was 136 respondents with the characteristics determined by the researcherwhichare demographic characteristics such as gender, campus origin, and selected concentration subjects. The method used for the sample determination was purposive sampling method. The data was collected by submitting questions in the form of questionnaires to Accounting students of Sriwijaya University class of 2017 and was processed using SPSS Statistics 23.0. The results of this study indicate that subjective norms, anticipatory socialization, and perceptions of behavioral control influence the student's intention to do whistleblowing. This research can be considered important for the students to become whistleblowers and be responsible as prospective young accountants. For universities, this research can be a reference in minimizing cheating that occurs in academics.
