This study aimed to see the level of legal awareness of Students of the Civics Education Study Program FKIP UNSRI in fulfilling the obligation to have a Driving License (DL) type C, and used a quantitative approach with descriptive method. The sample of this research was using Non-Probability Sampling technique with Purposive Sampling type, and the data collection techniques of this research were through documentation, questionnaire and interview. The population of this study was 220 people, so that 69 respondents were taken as sample using the Slovin formula with a significance level of 10%. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the level of legal awareness of Students of Civics Education Study Program FKIP Unsri in fulfilling the obligation to have a Driving License (DL) type C was moderate. This was determined by indicators; the moderate level of legal knowledge, the moderate understanding of the law, moderate legal attitudes, and the high legal behavior. Generally, the level of legal awareness of students obtained from 69 respondents, there were 18 (26.09%) respondents who had a low level of legal awareness, 38 (55.07%) respondents had a moderate level of legal awareness, and 13 (18, 84%) of respondents have a high level of legal awareness. Factors that can affect students' legal awareness of ownership of a Driving License (DL) type C, namely high motivation factors, knowledge of clear legal information, the environment in which they live as a form of legal culture, and the existence of law enforcement from the authorities, causing fear and aware of the law.
