PEMANFAATAN MEDIA KAHOOT DALAM KUIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI ANGKATAN 2018 FKIP UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This study aims to describe the use of kahoot media in quizzes to increase student motivation in the Economic Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University. This research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was the 6th semester students of the Economic Education Study Program in the education economics course, totaling 56 students. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this study indicate that the learning motivation of students of the Economic Education Study Program FKIP Sriwijaya University before the use of kahoot media is 70.5% in the sufficient category and learning motivation after the use of kahoot media is 82.5% in the good category. This shows that there is an increase in the average student motivation of 12%. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an increase in learning motivation for students of economic education class 2018 FKIP Sriwijaya University who used kahoot media in quizzes on educational economics courses. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that kahoot media can be a recommendation for the use of technology in education to support increasing learning motivation.
