PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK PEKERJAAN DAN STRES KERJA PADA KOMITMEN ORGANISASIONAL BAGI KARYAWAN PDAM TIRTA RANDIK KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN
This study aims to determine the effect of job characteristics and job stress on organizational commitment for employees of PDAM Tirta Randik Musi Banyuasin Regency. The population in this study were all employees at PDAM Tirta Randik Musi Banyuasin Regency using a sample which amounted to 85 respondents. This study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires and multiple linear regression analysis methods as data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the variable of job characteristics had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, while the variable of job stress had a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment. Therefore, the company is expected to be more considerate of the workload that will be given to its employees and provide opportunities for employees to receive feedback on their work so that employees stay in the company.
