This research was conducted to find out how CPO prices affect the income and economic well-being of oil palm independent farmers in The Sungai Rengit VillageDistrict of Talang Kelapa Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted with the following objectives: (1) Measuring the elasticity of the transmission of FFB prices for independent smallholders in the village. (2) Analyzing the effect of CPO price fluctuations on the income of independent smallholders in the village. (3) Determine the level of economic welfare of oil palm independent farmers to household income received in accordance with the standard of living needs (KHL) in the Village. This research was conducted in November 2019. Determination of the location of the study was carried out deliberately with the consideration that the Sungai Rengit Village has the existence of independent oil palm farmers. Samples of farmers using simple random sampling method with a sample of 30 farmers. The results of this study are (1) The result of the transmission elasticity of the International CPO price to the FFB price of 0.50
