PENGARUH LATIHAN BEBAN DI PINGGANG MENGGUNAKAN KARET DI AIR TERHADAP KECEPATAN RENANG 50 METER GAYA BEBAS PADA ATLET TIRTA SRIWIJAYA AQUATIC CLUB
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of weight training on thewaist using rubber in the water in the 50 meter speed freestyle swimming at tirta sriwijaya aquatic club athletes. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method, which means that before being treated this design uses a pretest. The research design used is one group pretest-posttest design. Using a total sampling technique to take a sample of 30 people. The research instrument was that all samples did a 50 meter freestyle swimming test. From the results of data analysis processing through the calculation of the t-test formula with the criteria tcount (29.5) > ttable (1.73) with a confidence level of 0.95 or 95% (α = 0.05) and the number of samples (n = 30) , then the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Weight training using the help of rubber in the water really has an effect on the speed of the 50 meter freestyle swimming. Based on the results of research on the effect of exercise using rubber which is thought to have an influence on swimming speed of 50 meters freestyle, it turns out to have a significant effect on speed in swimming 50 meters freestyle in tsac athletes. The implication of this research is that weight training using rubber in water can be done and used as an exercise program to increase swimming speed in athletes.
