DAMPAK BIOINSEKTISIDA DARI JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGEN TERHADAP ARTROPODA TANAH DAN PENGARUHNYA PADA PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI CABAI
This study was carried out at Entomology Laboratory and trial area of Plant Pests and Diseases Department, Plant Protection Study Program, Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University from March to August 2020. The experiment was carried out using a randomized block design (RBD) consisted of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Each plot consisted of 8 plant clumps. Arthropod observation was carried out using 3 sampling tools, such as pitfall traps, square flooding and berlese funnel. Agronomic variables observation was carried out in each plot with 5 clumps spread over 4 plot corners and in the middle of plot. Bioinsecticides application had no significant effect on plant height, leaves number, flower number, raw fruit number at the last harvest (169 dap), raw fruit weight, fresh weight and dry weight of chili plants. However, there was a significant effect on the small fruits number (106, 120, 134, 148 and 162 dap), medium fruits number (92, 106, 120, 134, 148 and 162 dap), ripe fruits number (106 and 160 dap), ripe fruit weight (106, 160, 166 and 169 dap), and root length. BKbTp isolate had the highest effect on ripe chilies. So, in this study could be concludes that bioinsecticides didn’t harm predatory and neutral soil-dwelling arthropods. BKbTp isolate had the highest effect on chili growth and yield.
