UJI KINERJA ALAT PENGGILING TIPE PIN-MILL PADA PENEPUNGAN BEBERAPA VARIETAS PADI
The purpose of this study was to determine the number of disk rotation and several varieties of rice on the performance of a pin-mill grinding machine. This research was conducted in November to March 2020 in the home of the rice flour industry in Palembang and in the Laboratory of Agricultural Product Chemistry, Palembang Campus, Sriwijaya University This study uses a factorial completely randomized design (RALF) method with treatments and each treatment was repeated three times. The first factor is rice varieties (sticky rice, ciherang and 42 bagendit). The second factor is the speed of the disc rotation (1300rpm and 1400rpm). The parameters measured are the working capacity of the grinding tool, grinding efficiency, percentage of fineness and fuel requirements. The results showed that the number of disk rotation speeds and several varieties of rice did not significantly affect the working capacity of pin-mill type grinding machines.
