The purpose of this research is to: (1) Identify the local wisdom of the profit-sharing system in rubber farming in Kartamulia Village. (2) Analyzing the amount of income of sharecroppers in the rubber farming profit sharing system in Kartamulia Village. (3) Measuring the level of welfare of working farmers based on the needs of decent living (KHL). This research was conducted in Kartamulia Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. The selection of research sites was done deliberately. Primary data collection at the study site was conducted in February 2020. The method used in this study is the survey method. The sampling method used in this study is a simple random sampling method. The results of this research showed that (1). The magnitude of the influence of local wisdom in rubber farming in the village of Kartamulia greatly affects the rubber farming system for yields (system for two, system for three, and system for four) related to this system of mutual support between sharecroppers and plantation owners. (2) Local wisdom in farming still persists until now is that farmers still use bari prayers in rubber farming activities, farmers still use planting procedures from previous farmers such as facing the living sun (morning sun), and farmers are still doing the previous farmers' way for one of the countermeasures pests and diseases. (3) Total income of sharecroppers in the system for two is Rp20,659,751.75 per area per year or Rp1,721,646.22 per month. And the system for three, amounting to Rp18,346,342.86 per area per year or Rp1,528,862.00 per month.(4) Rubber farmers in Kartamulia Village can not be said to be prosperous, because the total family income earned by sharecroppers is smaller than the KHL standard.(5). Measured from the Standard of Living Needs of farmers Kartamulia Village is said to be not prosperous, but there are some needs from farmers that are fulfilled by local wisdom or depend on community care and natural factors.
