Background: medical student requires good comprehension about human biology as basic knowledge of medical sciences. Therefore, to assess student’s perception and environment about biology block. It needs an evaluation. Method: this is a descriptive observational study with cross sectional design toward students of medical school programe year 2019 that was conducted on August till November 2020 using Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) questionnaire. Result: of 221 respondents, 67,4% gave good perception about learning, 115 respondents gave very good perception about lecturer (52%), perception about good achievement amounting to 62%, 72% respondents stated good perception of ambiance, and good environment (73,8%). Conclusion: majority of respondent stated good perception among all categories. Keyword: environment evaluation, biological block, DREEM, medical student evaluation.
