This research is research and development (R&D) that aims to produce a chemical lesson plan based on Discovery Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya in Class X that meets the valid, practical and effective criteria. The development model that used is Borg and Gall model. The results of this study obtained at the stage of evaluation expert review refers to the criterion of validity score Aiken’s obtained a final score of validation pedagogic aspects 0.92 (high category), the material aspects of 0.78 (high), and design aspects of 0.98 (high category). For score practicality test obtained Aiken’s score is 0,87 (high category) and for effectiveness test obtained n-gain score 0,75 (high category). The results showed that the learning implementation plan (RPP) developed meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective.
