Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak eksploitasi pada anak yang bekerja sebagai penjual asongan pada bidang pendidikan di kota Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah metode kualitatif dengan analisa deskriptif. pengumpulan subjek menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik observasi dan wawancara digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data dari subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pertama pada pendidikan Sekolah eksploitasi anak sebagai penjual asongan mempengaruhi penurunan nilai rapor pada jenjang pendidikan yang subjek ikuti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada pendidikan sekolah, eksploitasi anak sebagai penjual asongan mempengaruhi penurunan nilai rapor pada jenjang pendidikan yang di ikuti oleh anak karena kegiatan aktivitas berjualan sebagai penjual asongan menggangu kegiatan belajar anak. Pada pendidikan masyarakat eksploitasi anak menyebabkan anak tidak mendapatkan pendidikan di masyarakat karena keterbatasan informasi baik dari keluarga maupun lingkungan serta kesibukan aktivitas berjualan. Pada pendidikan keluarga eksploitasi anak sebagai penjual asongan menyebabkan pengajaran mengenai ilmu dasar oleh keluarga pada anak menurun bahkan terabaikan oleh menurunnya intensitas interaksi antara anak dan orang tua yang meyebabkan kapasitas diri anak dalam pemahaman ilmu dasar baik agama, moral maupun sosial menurun. Kata Kunci : Eksploitasi, Pendidikan, Penjual Asongan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the impact of exploitation on children who work as hawkers in the education sector in the city of Palembang. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Subject collection used purposive sampling method. Observation and interview techniques were used in collecting data from research subjects. The results showed, first in formal education the exploitation of children as hawkers affects the decline in the value of report cards at the level of education that the subject participates in. The results show that in formal education the exploitation of children as hawkers affects the decline in the value of report cards at the level of education followed by children because selling activities as hawkers interfere with children's learning activities. In non-formal education, exploitation of children causes children not to get non-formal education due to limited information from both the family and the environment as well as busy selling activities. In informal education, exploitation of children as hawkers causes the teaching of basic science by families to children to decline and even be neglected by the decreased intensity of interaction between children and parents which causes children's capacity to understand basic science, both religious, moral and social, to decrease.
