ANALISIS POTENSI PENINGKATAN NILAI TAMBAH BAHAN GALIAN KAOLIN DI PROVINSI KEPULAUAN BANGKA BELITUNG
Kaolin a rock mass which then composed clay material which has a low iron content, and generally white or slightly whitish. Kaolin a soft, white clay which dug from the ground. Geologically the Bangka Belitung Islands Province region an area that has high mineral potential and unique presence has comparative advantage compared to other regions in Indonesia. The largest reserves Kaolin deposits on Bangka and Belitung Islands. Bangka Belitung has the potential mineral resources which have comparative advantages in the form lead and associated minerals such as zircon, imenite, rutile, xenotime and monazite, as well as quartz sand and kaolin that are feasible developed and maintained. Investment in kaolin minerals, there are 2 commonly used methods, namely the purchase method and the rental method. Both methods will provide different investment components such as equipment procurement costs, operating costs and fixed costs that will affect investment criteria such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Payback Period. The method used the comparative method of the resulting investment feasibility. Alternative purchase will produce an NPV of Rp. 9,771,931,509, Internal Rate of Return 15.59%, Profitability Index of 1.23 and Payback Period for 3.56 years. Concluded that alternative purchases will generate profits.
