PENGENALAN BILANGAN (1-10) OLEH ORANG TUA PADA ANAK USIA (4-5) TAHUN SAAT BELAJAR DARI RUMAH DI DESA GADUNG BANGKA SELATAN
This study aims to describe the understanding and success rate of number recognition (1-10) by parents in children aged (4-5) years when learning from home. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection instrument used interviews and checklist list observation sheets. Sampling using saturated sampling technique. So the sample amounted to 32 parents. The results of data analysis in this study obtained a percentage of 77% of all 32 respondents both elementary, junior high, high school and included in the good category. This is proven by 79% of parents in counting or mentioning many objects (1-10) to their children in the good category. Parents develop children's numeracy creativity at home by counting activities using pom-poms. For indicators of introducing numbers through concrete objects 83% of parents are in the very good category. For indicators of introducing number symbols through imitating shapes activities get a percentage of 71% and are in the Good category with activities forming number patterns through homemade playdough activities with children, writing numbers in the sand and invites children to imitate number patterns while placing small stones. It is hoped that in future research, parents will further increase the creativity of number recognition (1-10) by making activities that are easy to find around the house.
