This research is entitled "Development of Muhammadiyah Education in Tanjung Raja Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2010-2020". The problem discussed in this study is how the development of Muhammadiyah education in Tanjung Raja sub-district in 2010-2020. The purpose of this study is to determine the development of Muhammadiyah education in Tanjung Raja sub-district in 2010-2020. The research method used in this research is the historical method. This method contains four stages of research including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography using a sociological approach. Based on the research results, the development of Muhammadiyah education in Tanjung Raja sub-district in 2010-2020 can be described according to the level of each school. Elementary School Muhammadiyah 25 Talang Balai, Elementary School Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja and Junior High School Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja have experienced fairly stable developments. Meanwhile, Senior High School Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja has experienced a fairly declining development in the last few years. The lack of enthusiasts at this school has caused Senior High School Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja not to open new classes in the 2020/2021 school year.
