TOKSISITAS FILTRAT KULTUR BIOINSEKTISIDA DARI JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGEN ASAL TANAH RAWA DENGAN BERBAGAI UMUR SIMPAN TERHADAP LARVA SPODOPTERA FRUGIPERDA
Spodoptera frugiperda is a new pest that attacking maize. S. frugiperda attacking maize in the vegetative to generative phase. usually the larvae are found on the shoots of plants and larva S. frugiperda actively attacking maize right at the point of growing plants that cause the plant to be damaged and even dead. Entomopathogen fungi have been widely used for pest control. Therefore, this study aims to determine the toxicity of bioinseticide culture filtrate from entomopathogenic fungi stored 5-12 months against the larvae of S. frugiperda . This research has been carried out in the Entomology Laboratory of the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases. Plant Protection Study Program. Faculty of Agriculture. Sriwijaya University from April - November 2020. This study used bioinsecticide of entomopathogenic fungi obtained from the Laboratory of Entomology. The bioinsecticide code is BKbTp, BSwTd4, MSwTp1, and MSwTp3. Furthermore, toxicity test of S. frugiperda larvae using randomized Group Design (RAK) using 5 treatments repeated 3 times and observed for 12 days. Bioinseticide MSwTp3 shelf life of 5-12 months at the highest resulted in death in larvae S. frugiperda with the highest mortality rate at the shelf life of bioinsecticides 5 months and the lowest at shelf life of 12 months. The values LT50 and LT95 show a significant difference. Larvae given Bioinsecticides treatment of entomopathogenic fungi will die while at the control of the larvae actively eat so that the larva's weight increases every day. From the observations for 12 days the average area of the leaves eaten did not differ noticeable from the controls, but on the observation of the weight of impurities is different from the control, this is due to insects testing poisoning or disruption of metabolic processes caused by entomopathogenic fungi. Symptoms caused after application on days 1 to 3 there are several S. frugiperda infected with fungi that have the characteristic of stiff death, integument becomes dull, the size of the larva shrinks or shrinks. Then the next day the larva dies as dry, the color turns black, but does not smell. Then, the peak of mortalias occurs from day 4 to 12. However, on the 10th day most larvae of S. frugiperda on treatment enter the pupa phase and some larvae fail to form pupae (dead). The conclusion of this study is the most toxic entomopathogenic fungi bioinsecticide that is code MSwTp3 with a shelf life of 5 months which causes death of 85.33% with LT 50 and LT95 at least 6.30 days and 14.38 days.
