PERBAIKAN SUBSOIL DENGAN KOMPOSISI TANDAN KOSONG DAN LUMPUR LIMBAH POME KELAPA SAWIT SEBAGAI MEDIA TANAM PEMBIBITAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.)
The availability of top soil is decreasing because erosion causes soil to erode or be used continuously. Substitute top soil by using subsoil soil as nursery media. Subsoil soils are nutrient poor with a pH of 4.5-5.6. Therefore, research was carried out to improve subsoil soil with oil palm empty fruit bunches and POME waste sludge as planting media and provide good growth of oil palm seedlings in oil palm nurseries with treatment consisting of two factors, the first factor is how to give A1 (mixed) and A2 (making mulch). The second factor of administration dose consists of P1 = 95% Subsoil + 2.5% TKKS (125g) + 2.5% sewage sludge POME (125g) / 5kg polybag, P2 = 90% Subsoil + 5% TKKS (250g) + 5% sewage sludge POME (250g) / 5kg polybag, P3 = 85% Subsoil + 7.5% TKKS (375g) + 7.5% sewage sludge POME (375g) / 5kg polybag and P4 = 80% Subsoil + 10% TKKS (500g) + 10% POME sewage sludge POME (500g) / 5kg polybag. This research was conducted at the Practicum and Research Gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University in 2020 and soil analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of PT. Binasawit Makmur-Sampoerna Agro Tbk. Based on the results of the study using analysis of variance in factorial randomized block design (RAKF) showed that the interaction treatment did not significantly affect the diameter of tubers, significantly affected the number of leaves and had a very significant effect on plant height. The results of the soil analysis on the treatment method of administration mixed with 125g dosing can increase soil pH and the treatment method of administration to make mulch with a dose of 250g can increase N and Mg in subsoil soil.
